Developing time and temperature compensation
Most black & white films are usually developed at 20C (68F) but you can process them above or below that temperature.
There are plenty of time and temperature charts on the internet but this little device is a slide rule that can be printed and cut out. I use this all the time and find it accurate.

It's easy to use.
Just line up the time required for 20C, in this case 12 minutes, then take the solution temperature and read off the revised times. So 22C will need a dev time of 9.75 minutes, whereas 16C will take 17.5 minutes
